  2. Swedish Body Heat For All

    There's some creative engineering at play in Stockholm's Central Station where developers have constructed a way to harvest body heat and use it as an energy source. Over 250,000 people pass through the station a day giving off large amounts of body heat. This body heat is then collected by heat exchangers and converted into hot water which is piped straight to the heating system of a building across the road. Pretty amazing stuff.     Our good friends at Nightflight play host to the man of many names Luke Vibert tomorrow night in Dublin. A firm favorite in the Synth Eastwood office, Vibert has released 19 different studio albums for a variety of labels including Warp Records, Ninja Tune, Lo recordings, Planet Mu, Mo-Wax and Aphex Twin's Rephlex.
