Rear Window Timelapse

April 10, 2012 by Synth Eastwood

This video is a great idea that melts the old with the new. The old being Alfred Hitchcock‘s 1954 classic Rear Window and the new being an after effects remix stitching together Hitchcock’s famous voyeuristic angles into one flat panoramic frame. Artist Jeff Desom timelapses through the 2 hour masterpiece in 20 minutes and when exhibiting projects the finished piece 10 metres long. This is definitely worthy of a full screen.
