The Scoop Art Auction Returns

August 30, 2012 by Al

The SCOOP Foundation ( Saving Children Out Of Property) is a charity from Dublin set up by long time friend of Synth Eastwood Andy Sweeney and a group of hard working volunteers. Together they have raised large volumes of money to help homeless children in India & Cambodia with a series of creative events. One of these events is the SCOOP Art auctions, of which alone have raised 60,000+ euros for their many causes. The next in the series comes up on October 14th and the call for submissions is still open. If you think you’d like to submit, please do, you will be amongst good company and most importantly be helping towards the goal of building a school in India’s poverty stricken Varanasi. More details can be found here including a glittering list of artists already involved.
