Hack the City Dublin

June 26, 2012 by Synth Eastwood

Hack the city is a call to arms from the Science Gallery, inviting “citizens of Dublin to take control and adopt a hacker mindset to bend, tweak and mash-up Dublin’s existing urban systems – rethinking the city from the ground up.” The summer long programme brings together a mix of exhibitions, workshops and events to inspire your own involvement. Highlights include, Julian Oliver‘s augmented reality art exhibition on hijacked billboards, discussions to plot a new use for Ireland’s grim ghost estates, talk series from TEDxDublin and Ignite, plus much more. All information available here.
