LCD Soundsystem play their final show

April 4, 2011 by Synth Eastwood

On saturday night LCD Soundsystem took their final bow to 20,000 people in New York’s Madison Square Garden and to an unknown audience around the world on a live stream by Pitchfork TV. I didn’t stay up to watch it live but I am certainly glad they recorded it. The 3 and a half hour set is speckled with guest cameos and provides a fitting swan song for band with quite a legacy of modern music. All of their mothers should be very proud.
