Goodtime Colours the Darkness

November 21, 2011 by Synth Eastwood

This November beckons the release of Goodtimes latest balladic renderings The Colours of Darkness. While recording this album Goodtime, formally Goodtime John, evolved into an ensemble which has resulted in sound-vibes and mood-fields that are a marked step away from previous works. As a taster Generous John, writer and guitarist on the album, has put the first single ‘Behind the Sun’ out as a free download here – and the accompanying video above is shot by photographer and friend Rich Gilligan.

If you like what you hear you will find links to the rest of the album from his website. However if you prefer the feel of plastic in the moring the vinyl is available to buy online here. Cant wait for the postal system to get it together? Head down to Dublins newest record shop Elastic Witch in the Twisted Pepper on Abbey Street.

Goodtime play an Album launch on the 3rd of December in the Grand Social with support from Angorwat and Bill Blood.
