Guardian Street Stories App

March 30, 2012 by Synth Eastwood

As a follow on from the Hackney Hear app we posted a couple of weeks back, the same organisers have teamed up with The Guardian to widen the scope of the project to cover other areas of London. They have developed a phone app aiming to add rich context to sight-seeing in the city. Using GPS technology, audio segments describing scenes from history old and current plus relevant facts and information are all triggered by where you stand. First up on the Street Stories Series is Kings Cross. Whats more the app is free.

    Now Listen Here

For our Minimix Series we ask creatives of all disciplines to select 30 minutes of music for your listening pleasure. Music to dance to, music to work to, music to get hubba hubba to. So far we've had some amazing mixes from folk like Jape, Shit Robot, Conor & David and Toby Kaar. A lot more to follow too. Click above to tune in.
