Beautiful Paper Cuts from Lisa Nilsson
Artist Lisa Nilsson has perfected the renaissance art of paper quilling. She rolls and loops strips of Japanese Mulberry paper around any item small enough (ie. pins or drill bits) and builds these cross-sectional images as a plan view. The detailing in her anatomical “Tissue Series” are staggering see the rest of the set here.
