January 18, 2012 by Synth Eastwood

Yago Hortal is a 28 year old Spanish artist who uses acrylic to dazzling effect. Creating almost sculptural compositions with the simple properties of how synthetic paints mix. Hailing from Barcelona Hortal now calls Berlin his home and some of his recent work hangs in the Egbert Baque Gallery there. Hortal showcases his trademark marbling style aptly as part of a group exhibition paying tribute to Jackson Pollock. The exhibition is called “There is no end” and runs currently until the 25th of February.
