Crafting Type Exhibition

March 6, 2012 by Synth Eastwood

In association with this years Offset, Orlaith Ross has curated an exhibition entitled “Crafting Type“. The show brings together the work of stone carvers, architects, industrial and graphic designers. Displaying a diverse range of approaches that “take inspiration from the written word, transforming typography and lettering using traditional and contemporary techniques in unexpected ways.” Featuring the work of James Cullen, Cian Corcoran and Thomas Glendon to name but a few, the exhibition takes place in The Factory on Barrow Street with the opening this thursday from 8pm.
