An Taobh Tuathail Volume Five

September 10, 2012 by Synth Eastwood

Great music post to start this week from Synth Eastwood’s favourite Galway resident, Cian Ó Cíobháin. As well as outputting great work with Shock World Service and 110th Street, Cian has been presenting one of Ireland’s most respected music shows, An Taobh Tuathail (The Other Side), on Raidió na Gaeltachta since 1999 (Monday—Friday from 9pm for anyone not familiar).

For folks that can’t tune in An Taobh Tuathail has been releasing complications that represent the shows direction and eclectic tastes—all of which are superb and free to download. Volume Five is just out of the oven and smells amazing with ingredients such as Julia Holter, Hype Williams and Maria Minerva (full deets below). Set the table and tuck in right here (previous episodes available too).

Bon appétit Monday.
