Furniture That Felt Good
In a world of ever growing mass production it’s always good to see designers reworking & upcycling. This range “Outside In” from Nic Parnell mixes found wooden forms with sharp treated timber shapes, creating one off-pieces that wouldn’t look out of place in the sitting room of Dr Suess. The boldness of the colours in the felt wrapping give a graphic effect that works beautifully with the natural branch shapes. The range includes lamps, tables and a hat stand not suitable for a one bed apartment. His site has lots more recovered, reworked and reloved pieces of furniture, have a look here.
